Summer Circus Spectacular

Summer 2013

Designed to be a self-guided activity for children ages 6 and up, Summer Circus Spectacular (SCS) is a fun way to stay cool this summer while searching for hidden treasures on the Ringling Estate.  Campers will experience the Ringling Circus Museum and the Estate’s beautiful gardens and grounds. 

Attend the circus performance and participate in a self-guided scavenger hunt:

  • SCS occurs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from June 18 – Aug. 1, 2013
  • Arrival time is at 10:15a.m. with lunch from 12:00 pm. – 1:00 p.m.
  • The circus performance begins in the theater at 11:00 a.m.
  • Access to the Estate is valid for the entire day.
  • Our picnic areas offer shade for eating bagged lunches or you can purchase affordable lunches, available through the Banyan Café. Call for more information 941.359.3183. Picnic areas are reserved with a prior reservation. Please be sure to make your reservation on the below Registration Form.

Please Note:

  • Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance as space is limited.
  • For more information about the circus performance please call 941.358.3180.
  • One chaperone (18 years and up) is required for every ten students.
  • The charge for SCS is $7/camper and payment is due on the day of the visit

Booking constitutes an agreement to abide by all museum guidelines and procedures. Inability to meet behavioral and procedural guidelines may result in dismissal from the museum grounds. Groups that do not meet student and chaperone expectations may not be confirmed for future tours.
