Current School Tour Descriptions
Museum educators and docents have developed each school tour using select works of art from the permanent collection. Each tour correlates with the Sunshine State Standards. Below are images of works of art that students may visit on the day of their visit. Due to conservation, traveling exhibitions, or special events, certain works of art may not be on view at the time of your visit. The Museum appreciates your flexibility and strives to create the best possible visitor experience.
Please note the following:
- The list of tours below is not comprehensive.
- School tours normally consist of five-six (5-6) works in 45-55 minutes.
- Arriving late can affect the number of works that the docent can cover on your tour.
- We reserve the right to adapt tour content so that we are able to offer the best possible experience for your students.
- We may need to make logistical changes to tours due to time constraints, special events, and other museum factors.
- Your docent, once assigned, can give you more specific details about your tour. He or she will contact you approximately one week prior to your scheduled visit.
