Dance the Evening Away to Beautiful Sunsets at Third Thursdays Cocktails at the Cà d’Zan

Sarasota, FL—January 3, 2008— Guests will enjoy sunsets from the Cà d’Zan Terrace this season while dancing and enjoying refreshments as Third Thursday Cocktails at the Cà d’Zan continue in 2008 at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. 

            Live bands from around the area will play throughout the evening and guests can purchase a variety of refreshments from 6-9 p.m. every third Thursday of the month.

            The schedule of bands follows:

  • January 17, 2008-Vertigo
  • February 21, 2008-Henry Lawrence Band                 
  • March 20, 2008-The Boneshakers

            Doors open for Third Thursday’s at 5:45 p.m. and tickets are $5 per person. Seating capacity is limited.  Personal chairs, food and beverages will not be permitted into the event.

            Parking for the concerts will be available across the street from the museum at the FSU Asolo Performing Arts Center. Tickets may be purchased at the John M. McKay Visitors Pavilion. For more information, call 941.359.5700 Ext. 5705.

General Admission includes the Ringling Museum of Art, special exhibitions, Ca' d’Zan Mansion, Circus Museum, and Mable’s historic Rose Garden, all on 66 acres of lushly landscaped grounds. Adults are $25; senior citizens (65 and over) are $20; children ages 6-17 are $5.  Free Admission for children 5 and under accompanied by an adult, museum members.  Advance tickets are available by calling 941.358.3180.
