Ringling Museum Art Library Temporarily Closed For Move

WHAT:            The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art’s Library will be closed to the Public beginning Jan. 8, 2007 as they move into new space in the Education/Conservation Building.  An opening date for the new Library has not yet been set.  The new library will provide additional square feet of space for the permanent collection of over 70,000 volumes of books,  periodicals, and videos.  The new Library will have a special room for John Ringling’s rare book collection and a spacious reading area. The Library staff will still respond to requests by telephone at 359-5700 x2701 or through email to library@ringling.org

General Admission includes the Ringling Museum of Art, special exhibitions, Ca' d’Zan Mansion, Circus Museum, and Mable’s historic Rose Garden, all on 66 acres of lushly landscaped grounds. Adults are $25; senior citizens (65 and over) are $20; children ages 6-17 are $5.  Free Admission for children 5 and under accompanied by an adult, museum members.  Advance tickets are available by calling 941.358.3180.
