Venetian Carnival Plate
A vibrant, 6-inch dessert plate, sporting the merry Venetian Carnival figures from the Cà d'Zan's Game Room. A set of four comes attractively packaged in a "hat box"-style box.
Originally planned as an attic, the Game Room, located on the third floor of the Ringling mansion, Cà d’Zan, was transformed into yet another informal center of pleasurable pursuits for John and Mable Ringling. Here, the artist Willy Pogany was given free reign. His painted ceiling figures represent the entire Ringling household, as well as other fanciful figures, in colorful Venetian Carnival garb.
