Color is an integral part of a successful landscape design. Florida trees, shrubs and plants offer rich opportunities to create vibrant tropical displays or alternatively, a more subdued, calming environment. While we can't guarantee what will be in bloom, a walk through the Ringling grounds will demonstrate the variety of blooming trees and plants available to the Florida gardener.
This series of workshops is designed to give the homeowner the knowledge and the know-how to create Florida-friendly landscapes. These landscapes have lower water requirements, and lower frustration for the gardener. By selecting the right plants and putting them in the right place, you can raise the bar for success.
The program will include a talk and discussion in the Education Center followed by a walking tour tailored to the topic. Please wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
