Family Workshops are free drop-in programs, which feature self-guided art projects. Families do not need to buy admission or register to participate; simply stop by the Welcome Center in the Visitor Pavilion and enjoy an art project at your own pace. (Adults without children are, of course, also welcome!) Projects are generally designed to be open-ended and appropriate for children between the ages of 4 and 10 years of age. Please view the calendar for dates and times.
Kids Quests are 45-minute sessions facilitated by a museum educator, featuring conversations and a game surrounding one or two featured objects in The Ringling’s collection. Although Kids Quests always meet at the Visitor Pavilion, they explore a different location on the Ringling Estate each week. There is a $2 cost per child to participate in a Kids Quest, and this fee gives the family access to the featured venue for the rest of the day. Kids Quests are thematically related to the art project in the Family Workshop, so families are encouraged to participate in both experiences. Please view the calendar for dates and times.
