Kids & Families
Family Workshops are facilitated weekend programs for children ages 4-10 and their caregiver. The programs connect features of The Ringling to hands-on activities. Together you will investigate one area of The Ringling, then explore it more deeply by working on science experiments, art-making or other open-ended projects.
ROAR! Ringling Order of Art Readers
Give a child the gift of reading and you give them the world at their fingertips. Families with children 4 to 7 are invited to join The Ringling Order of Art Readers. A Ringling staff member will enchant children with a story about art and follow it with a fun craft or activity. Registration is required. Programs are limited to 20 children and an adult must accompany each child. Get your kids to ROAR! about Reading!
The David F. Bolger Playspace
Slide, swing, splash, tumble and bounce: every so often the child in all of us needs to get outdoors, let go and just play. Now families and school groups visiting The Ringling have just such a place to gather, The David F. Bolger Playspace, where a tower and slide, basket swings, hand-powered fountains and other novel pieces of equipment promise to deliver good times and gales of laughter.
