The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art exists because of John and Mable Ringling’s dream to create a cultural center here in Sarasota. Today, The Ringling is one of our city’s most iconic landmarks and the largest cultural institution on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Annual Fund

Above and beyond membership support, the Annual Fund provides important unrestricted operating resources for our programs, exhibitions, and conservation of the collection. Donors who choose to support the Annual Fund have an immediate and meaningful impact on the day-to-day operations of the museum. These gifts touch every facet of the institution, from the upkeep and maintenance of galleries and public spaces, to the community and education programs that inspire hundreds of thousands each year.  Gifts to The Ringling Annual Fund may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

FSU Great Give

FSU’s Great Give is a 36-hour online giving campaign in support of academic programs, scholarships and student activities at Florida State University and The Ringling.  Every year The Ringling raises funds to host graduate students in residence as part of the MA program in Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies offered in partnership with the Department of Art History at FSU. 

Community Foundation of Sarasota County Giving Challenge 

The Ringling is proud to participate in the Community Foundation of Sarasota County’s Giving Challenge—a 24-hour online giving event supporting more than 625 nonprofits serving Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
