    Collection Access Request

    Before submitting a request, please visit our collections online to find out more about the object you are researching. Collections online may be viewed here: https://emuseum.ringling.org

    Access to collection materials which are not on display will be provided on a case by case basis. Priority will be given to those with a current research project or an institutional affiliation. And, access to collection materials is dependent upon Ringling staff availability and the condition or location of an item being requested. Not all requests will be honored.

    Items Requested
    List specific object information including maker, title, and object number if available (i.e. Jack Lord, Lehua of Kauai, SN8531.b), or a short description of the general types of objects you would like (i.e. Eighteenth century engravings to demonstrate technique to a printmaking class).
    Florida law does not require records requests to be made in writing. However, you may indicate here any accompanying records relating to the object which you wish to examine. If you would like to make a request in person please visit our offices during regular business hours (Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm).
    Note: Access is available on a limited basis, Monday thru Friday, 10:00am - 5:00pm. Visits are limited to 1 Hour.
