Develop your skills as an artist and support art-making for all people in our community! In this new program for older adults (55+) participants will gain new artistic skills, gather inspiration from The Ringling’s collection, and build community together. No prior experience is necessary! All levels and backgrounds are welcome.
Lifelong Art is a workshop series in which participants come together for eight sessions. The workshop series concludes with a celebration event and exhibition of participant work. Each work series is led by an experienced artist and will include exclusive museum access, such as behind-the-scenes viewing and curator-led tours. All workshops are housed in our new state-of-the art Maker Space and also allow participants with the opportunity to explore and make art through The Ringling Estate.
Workshops are sold in series and are not available for single-date purchase. Workshop pricing is $450 for members and $550 for non-yet members. Price includes all necessary supplies and Museum Admission for all dates during the length of the workshop so participants can continue to find inspiration at The Ringling. Your purchase also helps support off-site workshops for our nonprofit partners at no cost to their participants.
Lifelong Art is funded in part by the E.A. Michelson Philanthropy. Questions? Reach out to [email protected]
