Mable Ringling was a snowbird and probably had a lot of frustrating gardening experiences while adapting to this sub-tropical climate. If you’re new to paradise, or just need gardening support, The Ringling landscape staff is here to save you from some of that frustration with helpful tips, using the Ringling grounds as a classroom.
The program will include a talk and discussion in the Museum of Art, Chao Lecture Hall followed by a walking tour tailored to the topic. Please wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
Designed to give homeowners the know-how to create Florida-friendly landscapes, this series of programs uses the grounds and gardens of The Ringling as its outdoor classroom.
