Traveling circuses, exotic travelers in their own right, embraced the undeniable draw of the people and cultures of Asia, including exotic “Oriental” attractions and spectacles.

      The new Keith D. and Linda L. Monda Gallery of Contemporary Art will open with a site-specific installation by American artist Anne Patterson. Pathless Woods will be an interactive, multi-media installation in which the visitor is invited to walk through a forest of ribbons.

      The Ringling offers Saturday for Educators throughout the school year. Educators may attend this program to learn about the Ringling's permanent collection and special exhibitions, network with other educators, and refresh their creative spirit.

      Tour the “living collections” of the Bayfront Gardens. This walking tour will introduce you to interesting botanical specimens on the estate while providing a historic overview of the development of the property. Tickets for Bayfront Gardens Tours must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance.

      Let your imagination run wild! Simply drop-in anytime during the scheduled hours and enjoy an art project designed for people of all ages, no registration or admission required! Art Making is free to the public and all ages are encouraged to participate! Art Making takes place in the Visitors Pavilion, Welcome Center.
