When:
March 18th
Past Event
Free Event
Where:
The Ringling

All are welcome to a celebration honoring the artists featured in the exhibition Reclaiming Home: Contemporary Seminole Art. Admission to The Ringling will be free for the entire day on March 18.

Hear directly from the artists through conversations, storytelling, and informal gallery tours as they discuss their artmaking practices. The program begins at 11:00 am with a welcome celebration held outdoors, a land acknowledgement and remarks from museum leadership and special guests. Participate in a “Gathering of Artists” panel discussion where artists from the exhibition engage in interactive dialogue about their art and their connections to each other. Artists will also lead informal tours in the exhibition spaces, discussing their artwork on view. The exhibition will be open to the public throughout the day for continued engagement and contemplation.
