Our fall Collecting Recollections series will focus on members of the Ringling community who have seen – and made – a lot of changes in their time at the museum! They’ll share their memories of The Ringling and reflect on how it has evolved and grown over the years.
Heidi Taylor is a native of Sarasota and grew up at the Museum, since her father was the Curator of the Circus Museum in the 1950s and 60s. Heidi herself joined the museum in 1990 as a gate attendant and in 1992 was promoted to admissions supervisor, overseeing ticketing and admissions. In 2000, she moved to the Registration Department as the department assistant in charge of rights and reproductions. Currently, she is an associate registrar, meaning she helps maintain and oversee the Museum’s permanent collection.
Collecting Recollections is made possible in part through the generosity of Linnie E. Dalbeck Memorial Foundation Trust.
