I Ran Away with the Circus
How often have you heard that phrase or threatened to do it yourself? Here's your opportunity to meet William "Bill" Taggart, Circus Historian, who made good on the threat. After graduating from college, Bill Taggart went to work for the Ringling show. His amiable personality was invaluable to the back of the house. Taggart worked for several circuses excelling at ticket sales and often took to the road for advance sales. He sold the last ticket for the final Ringling Bros. tented performance in 1956.
