The ability to cast tools, weapons, and works of art in bronze was so important to the development of civilization that we refer to an entire era as The Bronze Age. The Ringling is rich in resources to demonstrate the methods of casting that were developed in different cultures.    Explore the processes used to create works in the collection, Eternal Offerings, and the Ai Wei Wei Zodiac.

Less formal that a lecture  presentation, Conversations are designed to be programs where staff and guests can share research projects or topics of special interest.  All Conversations take place in the Chao Lecture Hall - please remember to allow extra time to walk or take a tram to the Center for Asian Art.

Please note: Members are required to have tickets. Price will be adjusted after entering your Member ID

Funded by the Lester E. Bessemer and Mary Tilley Bessemer Endowment.
