Gallery Talk with Dr. Manuel Lopez Zafra

Please join us for a gallery talk by Dr. Manuel Lopez, Assistant Professor of Religion at New College of Florida, on the spread and transformation of Buddhism and Buddhist iconography via the Silk Road.
 
Dr. Lopez received his doctorate from the University of Virginia and is a scholar of Buddhism with a particular focus on Tibet and the Himalayas. He teaches courses on Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Buddhist Contemplative Systems, Hinduism, and Asian Religions in general, and also authors an intriguing blog, Lost Among the Walking Dead, about the intersection of religion and popular culture.
