Although we encourage creativity in children, as adults we often forget that we, too, can explore and learn through play. In this Museum Intensive course, we’ll bring the fun back into museum galleries for grown-ups! Class participants will experience the collection in new and unexpected ways through a variety of open-ended activities centered on engagement with art objects. If you are open-minded, curious, and enjoy thinking outside the box, this course is for you!
Our focus will be on in-gallery experiential learning. Background information will be provided about each of the art objects featured, but the emphasis will be on facilitating dialogue, creative thinking, and collective meaning-making in unusual ways.
Course Schedule: This course is a series of 4 classes to be held on Thursdays, Aug 4, 12, 19 and 26; 10:00 am-12:30 pm.
Price: $225 / $175 for Members
