Open Call to Artisans!
The Museum Store at The John and Mable Ringling of Art offers a curated selection of products that support the mission, programming, and collections of the museum. Our goal is to extend the visitor experience beyond the museum by offering significant publications and exciting merchandise related to the museum. If you are an artisan or vendor who believes your products would fit within the themes of art, circus, gardens, or the Ca’d’Zan mansion, please review the below guidelines and procedures.
Product requirements: The Museum Store seeks to offer high quality merchandise created by artisans locally, regionally, domestically or internationally. Items crafted in Florida are especially desired. Items must reflect one or more of the diverse programming themes, the collection, or temporary exhibitions of The Ringling Museum of Art. To view the collection, please visit our collections online.
Mediums: We accept craft work in ceramic, glass, wood, jewelry, metal, and textiles. Acceptable forms of non-craft items include books, home décor, fine design objects, kitchenware, fashion accessories, children’s toys and games. We cannot offer any original art for sale or limited editions. Nor do we offer prints of artists’ work.
Product Assortment Needs – Customer demand, current market trends, and our existing product mix are all taken into account when reviewing products.
Sales Potential – Revenue potential and profit margins are thoroughly evaluated as all income earned is used to support the programming at The Ringling.
