Kim Schmeits learned the art of metal-smithing while earning her degrees in fine arts. She received her post-grad in paintings conservation in Antwerp, Belgium and has lived and worked in Europe, Mexico City, and the U.S., always gathering artistic inspiration from her travels along the way.
Working exclusively with sterling silver, natural stones, pearls, and sea-glass, each of Kim’s pieces is hand-crafted in her Sarasota studio where she creates casual yet elegant pieces that flow easily from daytime to evening wear.
The Jewelry of Carrie Notari
