Have you ever visited a museum and wanted to make your own art? That feeling is called inspiration, which is important when it comes to making art! All artists are inspired by something. They may be inspired by people they know, plants and animals outside, or even stories someone read to them. This special exhibition highlights artwork by local children who were inspired by works of art in the museum's collection. Drop by and experience the Ringling collection through a new lens!
To visit: The Ringling’s Community Gallery is always free and open to the public. The public exhibition space is located on the ground floor of the museum’s Center for Asian Art. If you wish to visit the Community Gallery please ask for a free wristband at the Visitors Pavilion upon your arrival at The Ringling.
If you would like to get involved with our online programming, join the Family Programs at The Ringling Family Programs group on Facebook or visit www.ringling.org/kids-families
The Community Gallery is generously funded by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.
