Join us for a special ROAR series designed for older children, ages 5 to 7! In this special series, we will visit a museum venue and read a story in the museum followed by an art activity.
►Tickets will be available two weeks before each program.
►There is a $2 ticket required per child, and this fee gives one child and up to two adults access to the featured venue for the remainder of the day.
►Participants should meet in the Visitors Pavilion.
►Caregivers must remain with the group throughout the program and are encouraged to participate!
February 3 | The Runaway Wok: A Chinese New Year Tale by Ying Chang Compestine
March 3 | People in Art: In this program, we will be reading the book Ish by Peter H. Reynolds. This book celebrates creativity by reminding readers that creating art is about more than getting it just “right.” After the story, we will be creating portrait-ish drawings by creating outlines of our children on paper and letting them fill in their outlines with colors, pictures, or words that describe them.
