A fatal turf war between neighborhoods haunts the city of Richmond, Calif. Donté Clark transcends the violence in his hometown by writing poetry about his experiences. Using his voice to inspire those around him, he and the like-minded youth of the city mount an urban adaptation of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," with the hope of starting a real dialogue about violence in the city.

This program will take outside in the Benfer Courtyard, located just outside of the Kotler-Coville Glass Pavilion. Tickets will be available starting 30 days prior to the screening date.  Available seating will be marked to ensure social distancing.

Note: Due to rising COVID cases and safety concerns this event is subject to cancellation. Ticket holders will be notified and refunded if the screening is canceled.
