ROAR! is a storytime program, designed to engage toddlers and preschoolers in activities that connect art with early literacy. This program is free and no registration is required.
Join a Museum educator for a one-hour tour designed for parents or caregivers visiting the museum with an infant. This tour allows for adult discussion within a group that does not mind if a chatty or crying baby joins the conversation. Strollers or front baby carriers only, please.
Kids Quests are family-friendly and participatory museum tours for visitors ages 8 to 12. Kids Quests are facilitated by a museum educator and are approximately 45 minutes in length.
Art Making takes place in the Visitor's Pavilion, where our Children's Welcome Center is transformed into an art studio for the evening. We will be exploring different materials that artists use to create art. We provide the materials, you provide the vision. All ages are encouraged to participate!
Join us for a special ROAR series designed for older children, ages 5 to 7! In this special series, we will visit a museum venue and read a story in the museum followed by an art activity.
Join us on the third Thursday of each month for a special day designed just for homeschool families. Facilitated stations designed to engage different age levels will be set up throughout the Museum of Art. Families are free to move through these stations at their own pace to enjoy and learn together as a family.
