The Ringling is pleased to announce a new exhibition of the work of Sam Gilliam. The exhibition is being drawn primarily from local collections and features work from the early 1970s to 2010.
Saitō Kiyoshi’s (1907–1997) keen sense of design, superb technique, and engagement with an appealing variety of themes made him one of the best-known and most-popular Japanese print artists of the twentieth century.
This exhibition uses the relationship between the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and John and Charles Ringling as a lens to explore Sarasota’s development. The Ringling’s Community Gallery is a free public exhibition space located on the ground floor of the museum’s Center for Asian Art.
The Ringling is offering free Museum Admission to active Military personnel, including the National Guard and Reserve and their immediate families from May 15 through Labor Day. Please present your current Military ID at the Admissions counter.
Skyway 20/21 is a celebration of artistic practices in the Tampa Bay region, as it is a collaboration between four institutions: the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg; The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota; the Tampa Museum of Art; and the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum, Tampa.

We are happy to announce an exciting partnership with The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art, located in St. Petersburg, Florida. During the month of July 2021, Ringling Members will receive receive free admission to The James Museum as a benefit of their Ringling membership.
A poster designed with a portrait and images of the individual’s acts was a financial investment reserved for the most notable of performers. Today these printed images document the likenesses and accomplishments of some of the most talented women to be seen with the American circus.
Members are invited to join us from 9:00-10:00 am for the early opening of the featured galleries and the Bayfront Gardens on Thursdays. The Ringling is pleased to present this special gift to you, our valued members!
Participate in 60-minute Salsa dance lessons taught by DK Dance! Then practice your new dance moves with 30 minutes of social dancing. This evening of Latin culture and lively dance will be great for students who participated in the Summer Latin Series and beginners alike!
