ROAR! is a storytime program, designed to engage toddlers and preschoolers in activities that connect art with early literacy. ROAR! is free, however a ticket is required. Tickets may be picked up in the Visitors Pavilion the morning of the program.
Join us on Mondays for a special art-making program tied to objects you can find in the galleries as well as free admission to the Museum of Art. Tickets are required and must be picked up in the Visitors Pavilion the day of the program.
The Circus Arts Conservatory provides Sarasota and Manatee schools with a fifth grade curriculum that explores cause and effect, balanced and unbalanced forces, gravity, mass, and acceleration all while engineering a classroom ‘circus machine’.
This in-service is for second grade teachers interested in integrating the circus with core subjects in the classroom. Math will be explored through a budget, language arts through expressions used on a circus poster and mapping skills are some of the topics covered.
