ViewPoint - Rania Matar: From Personal to Universal

Artist Rania Matar was born and raised in Lebanon and moved to the U.S. in 1984. Originally trained as an architect, she studied photography which has become her medium of choice. Matar has created several series that depict the effect of conflict on the lives of ordinary Lebanese as well as Syrian refugees. Her work focuses on universality, humanity and dignity. Join us for a book signing and reception afterward.

This program is free for Veterans and Active Military Service Members with military ID.
