Growing at the Ringling
Grades: K-12 | Venue: Bayfront Gardens | Length: 60 minutes
Science and art blend together on this teacher-guided tour through the Bayfront Gardens! Students will experience four gardens on our 66 acres of beautiful grounds. The worksheets below incorporate science, math, language arts, and visual arts standards for a multi-disciplinary STEAM tour of the gardens. Each student workbook is accompanied by a teacher guide for chaperones, parents, and teachers to follow along. This program makes a great addition to both docent-led tours and teacher-guided visits, encouraging students to look and learn as you travel throughout the grounds.
Grades: K-12 | Venue: Ca' d'Zan | Time: 10 AM only
On the following teacher-guided tour students will see history come alive as they explore the first floor of Ca' d'Zan, the Ringlings’ winter residence. They will find connections between this historic home and Florida life in the Roaring Twenties. This tour provides a unique opportunity to see inside the life of a couple who helped shape state and local history. Please note: Your group must arrive by 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM entry to Ca' d'Zan.
We Ran Away with the Circus!
