ROAR! Ringling Order of Art Readers
ROAR! is The Ringling’s family storytime designed to engage toddlers and preschoolers in activities that connect art with early literacy. Join us in for a story and an accompanying activity.
Roar for Big Kids!
Join us for a special ROAR series designed for older children, ages 5 to 7! In this special series, we will visit a museum venue and read a story in the museum followed by an art activity.
Join a Museum educator for a one-hour tour designed for parents or caregivers visiting the museum with an infant. This tour allows for adult discussion within a group that does not mind if a chatty or crying baby joins the conversation.
These special days are fun for the whole family! Join us for art making, and activity stations. We will also distribute themed family activity booklets to use in the galleries.
Family Activities @ Art after 5
Join us on Thursday nights to receive discounted admission to the museum as well as a special activities for families. Some weeks we will have an art-making program in the Visitor's Pavilion and other weeks, we will be setting up our Imagination Playground somewhere on the campus!
Kids Quests are family-friendly and participatory museum tours for visitors ages 8 to 12. Kids Quests are facilitated by a museum educator and are approximately 45 minutes in length. Kids Quest tickets give you and your child admission to the featured venue of the rest of the day.
Let your imagination run wild! Simply drop-in anytime during the scheduled hours and enjoy an art project designed for people of all ages, no registration or admission required! Art Making is free to the public and all ages are encouraged to participate! Art Making takes place in the Visitors Pavilion, Welcome Center.
The David F. Bolger Playspace
The Playspace is available for families and school groups to enjoy. A tower and slide, basket swings, hand-powered fountains and other novel pieces of equipment promise to deliver good times and gales of laughter.
