Ca’ d’Zan School Tour
The Ringling is pleased to offer the following docent-led tour of Ca' d'Zan designed exclusively for grades 4-8. Students will see history come alive as they explore the first floor of Ca’ d’Zan, the Ringlings’ winter residence, and find connections between this historic home and Florida life in the Roaring Twenties. This tour provides a unique opportunity to see inside the life of a couple who helped shape state and local history.Tour Faq's►Docent-led tours of Ca' d'Zan are offered at 9:30 am Tuesday through Friday, August through May.►Reservations required 6 weeks prior to the date of your visit.►Maximum of 50 people per day can participate in this school tour.►Two Chaperones are required for every 10 students. We Ran Away with the Circus! Tour + Performance
This NEW self-guided tour option, designed exclusively for 2nd grade classes, is offered in conjunction with The Circus Arts Conservatory of Sarasota. Students will experience both an in-school performance by real circus stars and a self-guided visit to The Ringling to view circus history first-hand. In doing so, they'll practice skills in math, social studies, language arts, and visual art while getting to know some of the entertaining cast of characters you find in a circus.Tour Faq's►Self-guided tours are avaialble Tuesday through Friday, August through May.►Tours should be booked at least two weeks prior to the date of your visit.►Two chaperones required for every 10 students.►A Teacher Guide with pre- and post-visit materials is available, and workbooks are provided to students who participate it the two part program.
