Using the artwork of Trenton Doyle Hancock as inspiration, we'll explore setting and storytelling in artwork. Learn about Hancock's fuzzy, striped "Bringback" characters, as well as the artist's interest in toys and the stories they tell.
Kids Quests are 45-minute sessions facilitated by a museum educator, featuring conversations and a game surrounding one or two featured objects in The Ringling’s collection. Although Kids Quests always meet at the Visitors Pavilion, they explore a different location at The Ringling each week. There is a $2 cost per child to participate in a Kids Quest, and this fee gives the family access to the featured venue for the rest of the day. Kids Quests are thematically related to the art project in the Family Workshop, so families are encouraged to participate in both experiences.
