Explore the art of percussion and dance to the beat of your own drum in the Ringling Museum of Art Courtyard with a dynamic performance by The Kraken Quartet and a jam session with Eight Blackbird's distinguished percussionist Matthew Duvall.
Friends of Asian Art connect with other members with an interest in the arts of China, Japan, Korea and South and Southeast Asia. Events are held exclusively for the Friends including exhibition viewings, guest lectures and examination of artworks represented in the Asian art collections.
Members at the Supporting Level and above are invited to join Director Steven High for an update on what we have accomplished and where we are headed for the 2019-2019 season. This program will take place in the Chao Lecture Hall in the Center for Asian Art and a light breakfast fare will be served.
