This exhibition celebrates the remarkable intelligence and highly developed skills of these four-legged performers once covered walls and fences across America. Today these historic posters can be seen as part of the exhibit Amazing Animals on display in the Circus Museum’s Tibbals Learning Center.

Heidi Taylor is a native of Sarasota and grew up at the Museum, since her father was the Curator of the Circus Museum in the 1950s and 60s. Heidi herself joined the museum in 1990 as a gate attendant and in 1992 was promoted to admissions supervisor, overseeing ticketing and admissions.
Wilmer Pearson was the 2016-2018 Chair of the Docent Advisory Council at The Ringling. He has been a volunteer at the Ringling Museum since 2002 after retiring from working 37 years as an educator in Wisconsin. Wilmer presently serves as a docent at Ca'd'Zan, the Circus Museum, Gardens and Grounds, and school tours.

Maureen joined the Museum in 1998 and in 2008 she became Curator of Education. With the support of outstanding colleagues, the scope and responsibilities of the Education Department grew under her leadership.
