    Temporary Closures

    • Circus Museum, Tibbals Learning Center: The galleries located on the 2nd floor of the Circus Museum's Tibbals Learning Center are currently closed for reinstallation. All first floor galleries, including The Howard Bros. Circus Model, interactive galleries and poster exhibitions remain open.
    • June 6-7: The Circus Museum, Tibbals Learning Center will be closed for maintenance. Museum Admission will be reduced to $15.00 for these days.  The Historic Circus Galleries featuring the Ringling's personal railcar and circus wagons will remain open as usual.



    • Open daily, 10:00am-5:00pm
    • Closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.  


    Museum Admission

    Museum Admission includes entry to the Museum of Art, Circus Museum, Bayfront Gardens, and the Kotler-Coville Glass Pavilion. This Admission does not include entry to Ca’ d’Zan.

    Discounted Museum Admissions require a current ID and must be purchased in person:  Active US Military $15 | Florida Teacher $10 | College Student $5 | FSU, USF, SCF, NCF, RCAD students are free | Personal Care Attendants are free | Museums for All* participants are free.

    Museum of Art Tours: Free guided tours of the Museum of Art Tours are included with Museum Admission and are contingent upon Guide availability. Tours are offered at 2:00 pm and 3:00pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Discover how John and Mable Ringling’s legacy continues through all collecting areas in the museum on these engaging 40-minute tours. Though each tour is contingent on the individual guide’s preferences, tours may include the historic galleries, Searing Galleries, Monda Gallery, and Center for Asian Art. Meet in the Museum Lobby to participate. Space is limited.

    Museum Admission + Explore the 1st Floor of Ca' d'Zan

    Includes entry to the Museum of Art, Circus Museum, Bayfront Gardens, Glass Pavilion , plus a self-guided walk-through of the 1st floor of Ca’d’Zan. Ca' d'Zan capacity is limited. To avoid disappointment we encourage you to purchase tickets online, in advance of your arrival.

    New! Ca' d'Zan Experience Tour

    This new, engaging guided tour explores all five floors of Ca' d'Zan, from the entertaining spaces at ground level to the panoramic views atop the Belvedere Tower. Learn about Ca’ d’Zan’s famous residents, John and Mable Ringling, and the design elements that influenced the Mediterranean Revival mansion on Sarasota Bay.

    This small group tour is offered on select days and times. Each tour is limited to 8 participants. Please note: This tour is one hour long without opportunity to sit, consists of over 85 steps, and an elevator is not available. Access to the Belvedere Tower is weather permitting.

    Includes a guided tour of Ca' d'Zan, and access to the Bayfront Gardens and Glass Pavilion.

    Bayfront Gardens Admission

    Bayfront Gardens Admission includes access to the grounds and gardens and the Glass Pavilion only. Please note: The Bayfront Gardens are included in price of Museum Admission. If you are visiting the Museum, you do not need to buy this ticket.

    Yearly Pass:  Adult & Senior $25.  The yearly pass is only available for purchase in the Visitors Pavilion. 

    Bayfront Garden Tours

    Available Nov 5 through May 29

    This walking tour led by volunteer guides will introduce you to interesting botanical specimens on the estate while providing a historic overview of the development of the estate. The Ringling Arboretum has been accredited at Level II through ArbNet and there are over 2350 trees within the arboretum representing native, exotic, historical, and culturally significant trees.
    Garden Tours are available Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays and take place entirely outdoors. It is 90 minutes in length and covers approximately 1 mile. We encourage visitors to bring bottled water, and wear appropriate footwear, preferably closed-toe, sunblock, and hats. There will be a maximum of 10 participants per tour. Tours are subject to weather conditions. Please check it at the Visitors Pavilion prior to your tour. Tickets will be availabe 30 days prior to each tour.

    Visitors with a SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) or another EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) card may receive free Museum Admission for up to 4 guests. Simply show your SNAP/WIC/EBT card and a state issued ID at the Admissions counter upon your arrival. Museum for All visitors may also add the Explore the First Floor of Ca' d'Zan for $5 per adult.

    Free Mondays

    The Museum of Art and Bayfront Gardens are free to the public on Mondays. Please note: Regular admission pricing applies to visit the Circus Museum or Ca’ d’Zan; only the Museum of Art and the Bayfront Gardens are accessible without charge.

    Reciprocal Museum Membership Program

    Members of the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association or Museum Alliance Reciprocal Program (MARP), Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM)  or Southern Reciprocal Membership Program (SERM) who present their membership card indicating their affiliation, are entitled to:

    ► Per named cardholder- complimentary Admission to the Museum of Art and Circus Museum.
    ► 15% discount in the Museum restaurants and 10% discount in the Museum Stores.
    Note: Admission to Ca’ d’Zan, programs and special events are not included.
